Moorman Photographics: Giving Back to the Tampa Bay Community

At Moorman Photographics, we believe in the importance of supporting the community that has supported our business for over 28 years. As a local photography studio, we’re grateful for the opportunity to give back through a variety of charitable initiatives and contributions across the Tampa Bay area.

Supporting Charities

One of the causes close to our hearts is Ronald McDonald House Tampa Bay Charities, which provides a home away from home for families with hospitalized children. Their work has a profound impact on families facing medical challenges, and we are proud to support their mission.

We are also involved with the Kids and Kubs Senior Softball League, an organization that promotes active lifestyles for senior citizens. Their passion for the game and sense of community exemplifies the vitality of our area’s seniors, and it is an honor to be part of their journey.

Giving Back Through Education

A percentage of our earnings from school portrait sessions goes back to eight local schools. These schools include:

• Saint Petersburg Christian School

• LCC Day School (Lutheran Church of the Cross)

• First United Methodist Preschool

• French American School

• Riviera Day School

• Wellmont Academy

• Chosen Homeschool Co-op

We believe that education plays a crucial role in shaping the future, and by giving back to these schools, we hope to support the students, teachers, and staff who contribute to a better tomorrow.

Donating to Fundraising Auctions

In addition to direct charitable contributions, we donate portrait sessions to many different fundraising event auctions in the community. Over the years, we’ve had the pleasure of contributing to events like:

• Cattle Barons Ball – an event supporting the American Cancer Society’s work to eliminate cancer.

• Saint Petersburg Free Clinic – offers free health services to those in need.

• Great Explorations Children’s Museum – a fantastic resource for children’s learning and development through play.

These auctions help raise critical funds for local nonprofits and charitable organizations, and we are proud to contribute to their success.

Giving back within the Professional Photographers. We also believe in giving back to our peers within the industry we are in. We volunteer our time with the:
