Teaching from a working studio rather than a classroom: what the controls do, why a picture is not working, and how to fix it on the spot.
One-to-one or in a group, with your own camera.
Photographed by Moorman Photographics, a locally owned studio on 16th Street North in Saint Petersburg, working across Tampa Bay for over thirty years.
Taught on the camera you own
Most people who own a capable camera use one corner of it. The fastest improvement usually comes from understanding three controls and how they trade against each other, not from buying anything.
Teaching happens from a working studio rather than a classroom, so the examples are real jobs and real problems rather than exercises.
One-to-one or in a group
One-to-one moves at your pace and covers exactly what you shoot — nothing else. It is the quickest route if you have specific frustrations.
Group classes cover the fundamentals in a structured order and suit people starting out, or organisations wanting several people brought up to the same level.
