An agent's headshot works harder than most: it goes on signage, listings, business cards and a brokerage profile, at wildly different sizes.
We shoot with those crops in mind, so the same session gives you a frame that survives being shrunk to a thumbnail and one that holds up on a yard sign.
One photograph, a dozen different sizes
An agent's headshot has an unusually hard job. The same frame ends up two inches tall on a business card, thumbnail-sized next to a listing, and four feet wide on a yard sign.
Those are different pictures. A crop that works on signage is often too loose to read on a listing tile, and a tight crop that reads at thumbnail size can look severe when enlarged.
Shot with the crops in mind
We frame with headroom to spare so the same session gives you a tight crop for small formats and a wider one that holds up printed large.
Brokerages often have their own rules — background colour, orientation, how much of you is in frame. Tell us what yours requires and we will shoot to it.
What to wear
- A jacket photographs well and reads as professional without being stiff.
- Solid, mid-to-dark colours keep attention on your face.
- Avoid anything that dates quickly — a headshot on signage may be working for years.
